Famous Korean Actor Admits To Developing Panic Disorder And Insomnia Due To Hate Comments
Famous actor Jung Hae In has admitted to struggling with hate comments and reveals how much they affected him in a recent interview!
On the 9th of October, the 264th episode of tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ special ‘Best Heritage’ aired, featuring actor Jung Hae In, who engaged in a relay talk.
On this day, Yoo Jae-seok selected the drama “Something in The Rain” among Jung Hae In’s works as his life-changing work. Jung Hae In humbly said, “I was 31 years old, and I was very lucky. I had the help of Son Ye-jin, and the direction of Director Ahn Pan-seok. Even being cast was a miracle.”
Jung Hae In shared that he was overwhelmed because he gained attention before being fully prepared. “I had severe insomnia, and I wasn’t completely happy. I thought hateful comments were everything in the world. As someone who is evaluated by the public, there was a time when it was so scary and terrifying,” he confessed honestly.
He continued, “I worried about my very existence. ‘What kind of person am I… why am I living…’ There were times when I stayed inside the house for a long time, and I lived like a recluse. I even had panic disorder. Meeting people was scary,” he revealed.
Additionally, Jung Hae In said, “At that time, I read all the hateful comments. Now, I know there are people who support me and people who don’t like me. What can I do if they don’t like me? After realizing that I can’t be loved by everyone, I decided to ‘do my best for those who love and support me.’”
