Actors Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won have been rumored to be paired up for the upcoming drama “North Pole,” directed by Kim Hee Won and written by Jeong Seo-kyeong.
On March 28, following the said reports, a representative for Jun Ji Hyun confirmed to news outlets that she has received an offer to appear in the drama and is currently considering it positively. Kang Dong Won’s representative stated that it is one of the several projects he has been offered.
“North Pole” is a spy-themed drama that brings together Jeong Seo-kyeong and Kim Hee-won, who previously worked together on “Little Women.”
The drama is already garnering a lot of attention as it could potentially mark Kang Dong Won’s return to the small screen after 19 years since “Magic” was aired in 2004. Kang Dong Won’s representative stated that they are positively considering his return to the small screen.
If Jun Ji Hyun confirms her appearance in the upcoming drama, it would be her first in more than 2 years following “Jirisan.”
