Jang Hyuk, Jang Nara, And Chae Jung An’s Upcoming Drama Releases Pictures From First Script Reading

Actors Jang Hyuk, Jang Nara, and Chae Jung An feature in 1st script reading session of the new drama “Family”.

tVN’s new drama “Family” is a thrilling family comedy about a NIS black agent husband who disguises himself as an ordinary office worker and a sweet and cruel wife who dreams of a perfect family. It will be directed by Jang Jung Do has directed a number of box office hits such as the drama “Live On,” “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” “The Crowned Clown,” “Our Blues” and “Alchemy of Souls”. 

The pictures of the first script reading that opens the prelude to “Family” have been revealed, raising expectations. At the script reading of “Family” held in Sangam-dong, director Jang Jung Do, director Lee Jung Mook, writer Jung Yoo Sun and other production crew, Jang Hyuk, Jang Nara, Chae JungAn, Lee Soon Jae, Kim Kang Min, Yoon Sang Jeong, Gabi, and Shin Soo Ah attended. 

Director Jang Jung Do said, “I am grateful that good actors are with the script that I talked with the writer for a long time. We will create a place where we can always meet with a smile.” Co-director Lee Jung Mook also said, “I often say that the work follows the title. Until the end, I will try to create a harmonious atmosphere like a family.”

At the script reading, Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara showed off their extraordinary chemistry. In particular, Jang Hyuk, who plays the role of Kwon Do Hoon, exudes charisma as a black agent of the National Intelligence Service and raises tension, but when he is with Jang Nara, he is a loving husband.

Along with this, Jang Nara, who plays the role of Kang Yoo Ra, drew admiration by raising her level of immersion with a lively performance in which scenes were drawn just by reading. 

On the other hand, Chae Jung An drew admiration by perfectly digesting the role of Oh Cheon Ryeon, an agent of the National Intelligence Service, as her own character with her unique girl-crush charm. 

Lee Soon Jae said, “It’s a character I haven’t tried. I will do my best to show myself,” followed by a comical and realistic expression of the character of Kwon Woong Soo, the father of Kwon Do Hoon, who is friendly and loving.

The production team of “Family” said, “From the first reading, the synergy of the cast including Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara was more than expected. All the actors and staff will prepare hard and come back with a drama that viewers can immerse themselves in, laugh at, and relate to. Please look forward to it.”

“Family” is scheduled to premiere in April.
