Famous Actor Jang Geun Suk Personally Reveals He Was Diagnosed With Thyroid Cancer
Its been belatedly revealed that beloved famous actor Jang Geun Suk had been diagnosed with cancer and received treatment for it!
On August 16, Jang Geun Suk’s agency informed Daily Sports that “Jang Geun Suk was diagnosed with thyroid cancer around October last year” and “After consulting with medical professionals, he completed some of his scheduled activities and underwent surgery in May.”
They continued, “The surgery was successful, and he has since recovered his health” and added, “He is currently undergoing regular check-ups and is doing his best to manage his health.”
They also mentioned, “He chose to reveal the surgery to offer support and courage to those going through difficult times, as he wanted to present his positive and resilient self.”
Recently, Jang Geun Suk uploaded a video titled “Hello, this isJang Geun Suk . I have something to confess” on his YouTube channel, saying, “It has been two weeks since the surgery,” and “It’s been a while since I last greeted you. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer a year ago.”
He continued, “I couldn’t bring myself to talk about it for fear of causing concern. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and the follow-up results two weeks later were very good,” and “I’m relieved to finally share this and am now recovering my health to go on a trip.”
Meanwhile, Jang Geun Suk recently appeared on the Netflix reality show ‘The Influencer.’
