KBS’s upcoming drama “Oasis” is gearing up for its premiere!
On February 6, KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Oasis” released the first official poster featuring main actors Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Choo Young Woo.
“Oasis” is a melodrama about three youngsters who fiercely threw themselves to protect their own dreams, friendships, and first love, which is only once in their lives, against the backdrop of a turbulent Korea that is between the 1980s to the 1990s.
Actor Jang Dong Yoon plays Lee Doo Hak who is poor but intelligent and has a pure soul more than anyone else. He is a person of pure love who falls in love at first sight and falls in fateful love after seeing “Oh Jung Shin” who transferred from Seoul.
Seol In Ah plays Oh Jung Shin, who has the strength to fight against injustice and chase her dreams with her honest and confident personality. As an only daughter after transferring from Seoul, she makes unforgettable memories of her school days by forming a strong friendship and fresh love with Lee Doo Hak and Choi Chul Woong.
Choo Young Woo plays Choi Chul Woong, a friend, and rival who grew up with Lee Doo Hak since childhood. He is an elite who never misses being at the top of the school scores. He has everything, but he shows his heart that is shaken due to not winning the heart of a single girl.
The teaser poster catches attention with the refreshing images of Doo Hak, Jung Shin, and Chul Woong in school uniforms. The sight of the three people who make you smile just by looking at them boosts youth energy and throws away the bitter cold and makes you look forward to a warm spring.

The appearance of the three people makes fans anticipate characters full of individuality. Doo Hak wearing a buttoned-up school uniform and smiles slightly, which shows his shy but straightforward and reliable personality. On the other hand, Chul Woong shows a free and joyful side by unbuttoning his school uniform and holding his bag on his shoulder with a wide smile.
