IU has confirmed to reviewing the offer to appear in the new drama of writer Lim Sang Chun, who wrote “When The Camellia Blooms” while Park Bo Gum’s agency has denied receiving any offer for the drama.

IU’s agency, Lee Dam Entertainment, said on August 26, “We have been offered and considering the appearance of IU in Lim Sang Chun’s new drama.”

Writer Lim Sang Chun gained popularity by writing dramas such as “Backy’s Back,” “Fight for My Way” and “When The Camellia Blooms.” In particular, “When the Camellia Blooms” became the author’s representative work with a 23.8% viewer rating starring Gong Hyo Jin and Kang Ha Neul.

Park Bo Gum was reported to be cast opposite IU for this drama. In response, Blossom Entertainment, Park Bo Gum’s agency, said, “It is not true. We have not discussed anything related to his appearance in the drama.
