Actor Im Siwan has received an offer for the drama “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.

On April 25, Siwan’s agency, Plum A&C, told Newsen, “Im Siwan has been offered a role in the new drama ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ and is reviewing it.”

“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” is a suspenseful youth drama in which you can feel the nostalgia stimulated by the daily life and memories of agricultural high school students in the mid-to-late 1980s. Director Lee Myung Woo, who directed “The Fiery Priest” and “Backstreet Rookie”, will direct the drama.

Im Siwan has been reportedly offered the role of Jang Byeong Tae, a small and weak boy living in Onyang, Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.

Im Siwan debuted in the entertainment industry in 2010 with “Children of Empire”. He started acting in 2012 through the drama “Moon Embracing the Sun”, and has built a diverse and wide acting spectrum through dramas “Misaeng”, “Others are Hell”, “Run On”, “Tracer”, “I Don’t Want to Do Anything” and films “The Attorney”, “Emergency Declaration”, “I just dropped my smartphone”, etc.
