Im Siwan and Chun Woo Hee’s new movie “Unlocked” has maintained its No. 2 spot in Netflix’s global movie for two consecutive days.

According to Flix Patrol, a global OTT platform viewing site, on February 21, the streaming service platform Netflix movie “Unlocked” (director Kim Tae Joon) took the second spot in the Netflix film category as of February 20.

The film, which was released on February 17, ranked second for the first time on February 19 and a days later and maintained its position for two straight days. The world’s No. 1 movie is “Your Place or Mine,” starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher.

Currently, “Unlocked” is ranking first in the film category in Bolivia, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It ranks first in a total of 18 countries.

In particular, its popularity in South American countries is eye-catching. In addition to Bolivia, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, the film is ranked second in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Costa Rica.

Meanwhile, “Unlocked” is a thriller film about what happens when an ordinary office worker loses her smartphone containing all her personal information and begins to get threatened during her entire daily life. In the work, Chun Woo Hee played the role of Nami, a startup company marketer and an ordinary office worker who works part-time at her dad’s cafe on weekends, and Im Siwan plays the role of Jun Young, a man who approaches Nami, the smartphone owner in the film, with bad intentions. Kim Hee Won also plays the role of detective Ji Man, who suspects and pursues his son Jun Young as a suspect.
