Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin’s agencies have announced strong legal actions against divorce rumors.

On March 15, a YouTube channel posted a video titled “Hyun Bin Son Ye Jin divorced after 6 months of marriage…It’s shocking!”

Even earlier on March 14, a video titled “Actor Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin divorced after six months of marriage!” was posted.

The video content claimed that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin divorced on March 15. It also additionally claimed that Hyun Bin gambles. Unlike the title, the video claims that the timing of divorce is in March this year, not in September, six months after marriage, which is not right.

Regarding this content, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin’s respective agencies refuted back, “It is groundless and fake news.”

An official from Hyun Bin’s agency VAST Entertainment told Star News, “We are monitoring it in real-time and will take legal action.”

In addition, Son Ye Jin, an official at MS Team Entertainment, told Star News, “It is clearly fake news. We are continuously monitoring it internally, and have requested YouTube to delete the video. We will respond strongly, and we will take legal action regarding the contents.”

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin got married in March last year. The two became parents in November last year. Fake news has emerged regarding the marriage of the two, causing controversy.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are not the only couple embroiled in fake news about Korean stars. Earlier, Yoo Jae Suk, Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Ra, Kim Yuna and Ko Woo Rim, and Jongwon Baek and So Yoo Jin were also victims of fake news through YouTube. Among them, Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Ra’s agency Ascendio said, “We will take a strong legal response without mercy regarding fake news. In addition, the allegations raised in the video, such as ‘KBS Interview’, ‘Business Failure’, ‘Outlaw’, and ‘Loan’, are all groundless. We will take strong legal action.”
