Guess who is getting married? One of the biggest Korean celebrity couples!
On February 10, Son Ye Jin took to Instagram to personally announce via a post that she’s getting married to Hyun Bin. In the photo, she shared a cute little dress on a hanger and wrote in both English and Korean the following,
“I thought long and hard about how to share this story because it’s an important one.
I found someone to spend the rest of my life with.
Yes… it’s him.☺️
Boy meets girl,
recognizes each other in the crowd,
promises to build a future together…
I couldn’t imagine!
It happened so naturally…
But, isn’t that destiny?
Just being with him, I feel warm and protected. Please help us celebrate the beginning of our future.
And to my dearest fans,
I have received unconditional love and
for a long time now, I thought, there’s no way to repay it.
Please know that I’m infinitely grateful and
I also wish you all happiness!”
Hyun Bin has also released a personal Handwritten letter via his official company Instagram account, VAST Entertainment. In the post, one of the photos shows his hands holding Son Ye Jin’s hands and the other feature the handwritten letter.
He wrote,
“Hello, this Hyun Bin. How are you all doing?
I wrote this letter because I wanted to tell the fans who cared about me and gave me great interest and love, me who is lacking in many ways, the most important decision of my life first.
I’m sure some of you can guess, right?
Yes. I’m going to make the important decision of marriage and step carefully in second act of my life.
I promised the girl that always makes me smile that we’ll walk together in the future.Jeong Hyuk and Seri [the names of their characters in the hit drama “Crash Landing on You,” who worked together in the drama, will take the first step together.
I think you will be cheering our happy first steps as you’ve always done until now with warm and loving gaze.
Until the day we meet and greet each other, I hope everyone is healthy, and I hope you are happy.”
Shortly after the announcement was made the names Hyun Bin, Son Ye Jin and BinJin [the nickname the fans gave the couple] began trending on Twitter as fans expressed their happiness to learn the news and congratulated the couple.
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin confirmed they were dating on January 1st of 2021, they had met on the set of the 2018 movie “The Negotiation” and worked again on the hit drama “Crash landing on You.”
In a later statement via their agencies, they confirmed the couple is getting married in March in a private ceremony to be attended by their close family and acquaintances due to the current situation with COVID-19.
