In the recently held press conference of the newly released drama “The Law Cafe,” its main lead actors Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young have spoken about reuniting for the first time after the success of “Hwayugi.”

“The Law Cafe” is based on a popular web novel by Noh Seung Ah, who has more than 25 million views, and the original film has already been loved by many readers and proved its box office success. Writer Lim Eui Jung, who has already been recognized for his writing skills with his first work “KBS Drama Special 2020-One Night,” and director Lee Eun Jin, who co-directed “Bread love and dreams” and “My lawyer, Mr. Jo,” join forces.

This isn’t the first time Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young worked together back in 2018 on the tvN drama “Hwayugi,” while Lee Seung Gi played a leading role Lee Se Young played a supporting role in that drama. Fans are excited to see them reunite. The two actors are expected to bring sweetness and excitement to the small screen through bickering and heart-throbbing moments.

Regarding working with Lee Se Young on rom-com drama after a long time after working together in “Hwayugi,” Lee Seung Gi said,

It’s been a long time since I worked in rom-com drama so after working on this drama I felt ‘Right, this is what a rom-com feels like.’ I liked the energy given by Lee Se Young four years after the drama ‘Hwayugi.” Even though it is a legal drama and she had a lot of lines, she looked bright without showing any signs of exhaustion. I respect her.”

To that Lee Se Young said,

The most changed thing is our relationship. At that time, I was a zombie tenant living in his brother’s house [Lee Seung Gi’s character] but now he shows his affection generously so I like this.”

Regarding if the drama will be successful or not the director added,

If the drama doesn’t work out, it’s my fault. However, I didn’t feel any pressure at all even now while saying ‘Here.’ If the atmosphere on the site is good, then the work will come out really well or it will come out really bad.’ I hope it’s the former for us.”

Lee Seung Gi pointed out the viewing point of “The Law Cafe,” saying,

There are many programs that touch the heart like some other projects I’ve done. Most entertainment shows are like that. We do that in the drama. It was my first drama that was sympathetic, comforting, and made me tearful.”
