Two new Monday-Tuesday dramas have premiered 2 days ago, the short special MBC drama “You Drive Me Crazy” and the new KBS drama “Wok Of Love.”
Against the powerful SBS drama “The Miracle We Met” there was ultimately one winner and as expected it was the SBS popular drama.
On Monday 6th of May, SBS drama “The Miracle We Met” rated 11.7% according to Nielsen Korea.
SBS’s “Wok of Love” rated 5.8% and 6.4% for its first and second episode respectively coming in second place, while MBC’s special drama “You Drive Me Crazy” rated 2.5% and 2.2% which is considered good considering that its precedent drama “The Great Seducer” suffered in ratings.
On May 8th, SBS drama “The Miracle We Met” was again, crowned the ultimate winner in the viewership ratings battle.
According to Nielsen Korea, it rated 11.5%, this makes it the only drama in its timeslot with double digit ratings.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Wok of Love” ratings dropped slightly, it rated 5.8% and 6.4%, MBC’s “You Drive Me Crazy” rated 2.4% which is slightly higher than its previous episodes.
The romance between the leads of MBC’s “You Drive Me Crazy” made viewers wish for the drama to have been 16 episodes instead of just 2. Lee Yoo Young and Kim Seon Ho did great as friends-turned-lovers in the short but impactful drama.
Next week, MBC’s “Investigation Couple” starring Jung Jae Young, Jung Yoo Mi and Lee Yi Kyung airs its first episode and joins the ratings race.
