Hook Entertainment Confirms Veteran Actress Youn Yuh Jung Left Their Agency Despite Denying Such Reports Less Than A Month Ago

Veteran Actress Youn Yuh Jung has departed Hook Entertainment!

On December 5, Hook Entertainment issued an official statement to confirm the veteran actress has departed the agency after her contract expired. She’s been with the agency since 2017.

This follows Hook Entertainment’s previous denial of the actress’s departure less than a month ago. Back then, the agency denied the news and said the contract is not ending.

Recently, Hook Entertainment had been raided by police and it was suspected for being related to Park Min Young’s ex-boyfriend Mr. Kang as a part of a bigger investigation. The agency also has issues with Lee Seung Gi and his contract over a dispute over music profit distribution. He’s since asked for his contract to be terminated.

Youn Yuh Jung is considered one of the biggest Korean actresses and has recently made history for her performance in “Minari,” she won an Academy Award, Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award, and a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Award.
