Highlight’s Song Dongwoon joins Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon Su for SBS’ upcoming drama “Today’s Webtoon”!

on June 7, it was confirmed by Son Dongwoon’s agency Around Us Entertainment that he will be taking on the role of Oh Yoon on SBS’ upcoming drama “Today’s Webtoon.”

“Today’s Webtoon” tells the story of a former judo athlete who after getting injured was forced to give up on sports, she later gets a job in the webtoon editorial department where she struggles to grow as a true webtoon editor.

Kim Sejeong will play On Ma Eum, she is a new employee who got a job as a webtoon editor after giving up sports due to an injury. She will have to grow and overcome the hardships that come with this job. Nam Yoon Su will play Goo Joon Young who as time passes becomes more like On Ma Eum, who puts all of her heart and sincerity into everything she does.

Son Dongwoon will play Oh Yoon, he is a famous handsome webtoon writer who gained popularity after publishing his series that shows normal everyday life activities but in a comical way. He will get entangled with the people of Neon Webtoon’s editorial department with his next project.

Fans are looking forward to seeing Son Dongwoon on the small screen, how he will be portraying his character in the upcoming drama, and how his chemistry with the other actors is going to be.

Meanwhile, Son Dongwoon has recently dropped his second mini-album “Happy Birthday” and the video for its title track “Today’s Weather.”

“Today’s Webtoon” is set to premiere on July 29.
