‘If Its False, We’ll Take Legal Action,’ Han So Hee’s Agency Issues 2nd Puzzling Statement Addressing Hyeri’s Hateful Account
Actress Han So Hee’s agency has issued a second official statement regarding the allegations that she left malicious comments on actress Hyeri’s account through a private Instagram profile.
On October 16, Han So Hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, released an official statement through its account, saying, “The SNS account exposed by the media is not Han So Hee’s account, and if this is proven false, we will take full legal responsibility.”
The agency’s wording got backlash. Fans were puzzled that the agency was denying the claim but also using ‘if’ its proven to be false, they’d take legal action, which contradicts their previous sentence saying the account is not hers.
They further requested, “Please refrain from making unverified assumptions.”
Earlier on the 16th, Han So Hee’s agency told Newsen, “The SNS account exposed by the media is not Han So Hee’s private account,” marking their first response.
The suspicion that Han So Hee was behind the malicious comments left on Hyeri’s account emerged online on the same day. It was speculated that the account ‘catsaretheavengers,’ followed by actress Jeon Jongseo’s official account, was operated by Han So Hee.
Regarding this, Jeon Jongseo’s agency, Andmark, stated, “It is difficult to verify as it pertains to personal matters.”
The account in question left several malicious comments on Hyeri’s official account, such as, “Even combined, your sister (referring to Hyeri, Ryu Junyeol’s ex-girlfriend) and Ryu (referring to Han So Hee’s ex-boyfriend, Ryu Junyeol) don’t stand a chance,” “The mental capacity to think you’d reach 17 million followers,” and “Thanks to Han So Hee, Hyeri’s likes went up, though they’re probably gone now.”
It was revealed that the ‘catsaretheavengers’ account was created in March of this year, following the series of incidents surrounding Han So Hee and actor Ryu Junyeol’s dating rumors, his alleged “transition” from Hyeri to Han So Hee, and the eventual end of Han So Hee and Ryu Junyeol’s relationship.
Adding to the speculation, the profile picture of the account was an image of Saturn, which matched a photo Han So Hee posted on her official Instagram on July 2. That post featured the same Saturn photo, along with an image of Han So Hee holding a phone encased in a cat-shaped cover.
