Han Ga In Is Making Her Return To The Small Screen In 6 Years With OCN’s “Mistress”

Actress Han Ga In is returning to the small screen for the first time in six years with the upcoming OCN’s drama “Mistress.”

On January 5, a source of OCN shared the happy news and stated that Han Ga In is starring in the Korean remake of the BBC show “Mistresses,” she will take on the role of Trudi, she is playing the Korean counterpart which will be named Se Yeon.

Se Yeon is a single mother who lost her husband in an accident. In the Korean version, however, they plan on making her husband’s death a mystery.

Han Ga In last drama was back in 2012, she starred opposite Kim Soo Hyun in the high rated drama “The Moon Embracing the Sun.”



The British BBC original ‘Mistress’, which started broadcasting in 2008 and ended in 2016, centers around stories about life, work, love and friendship of four female friends in their thirties.

Since then, there had been remade in the US, that had also received a lot of attention.

OCN “Mistress” is written by Kim Ji Wook and Go Jung Woon, it will be directed by Han Ji Seung, who has been recognized for his sensational direction in “Alone in Love.”

The drama is set to air some time in April.
