New stills have been unveiled featuring GOT7’s Jinyoung and Kim Go Eun for their upcoming drama “Yumi’s Cells 2”!
“Yumi’s Cells” is based on the hit webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi- from the point of view of her brain cells that control her every thought, feeling, and action. The first season’s finale aired on October 30, 2021, and the final episode hinted at the second season which is finally happening.
The newly released stills show Yumi (Kim Go Eun) and Yoo Babi (GOT7’s Jinyoung) standing next to each other in the pouring rain with an umbrella in Babi’s hand, protecting them both from the rain. The way their shoulders are almost touching is heart-fluttering and what’s even sweeter is the way Babi’s umbrella is tilted slightly towards Yumi, to make sure she will not get wet. This thoughtful gesture of Babi and even the romantic weather make viewers look forward to seeing this couple’s story and how their romance will blossom.
“Yumi’s Cells 2” is set to premiere in June 10.
