Actors Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin might work together on Netflix’s original “Trunk.”

On February, an official from Management Soop, their agency, told Star News, “Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin are positively considering appearing in ‘Trunk’.”

“Trunk” portrays what happens at NM, a fixed-term marriage service agency that sets up a marriage with a desired spouse. It is based on a novel of the same name.

Director Kim Kyu Tae, who previously directed the dramas “Our Blues,” “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” and writer Park Eun Young, who wrote “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth,” will work together.

Seo Hyun Jin is known to have been offered the role of Noh In Ji, the deputy director of NM, who prefers staying single than getting married but her job is getting people married, while Gong Yoo is known to have been offered the role of Han Jung Won, a music producer who believes all marriages in the world are just deception.

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin are in the same agency. Attention is focussed on whether these two people will meet in one work and romance each other.
