Gong Yoo actually addressed the absurd internet rumors surrounding his friendship with Lee Dong Wook!
Recently, Gong Yoo made a guest appearance on “Salon Drip” hosted by Jang Do Yeon. Gong Yoo said, “I appeared to support Jang Do Yeon’s program,” and appeared as the first guest without any promotional reason, showing his loyalty.
Jang Do Yeon made Gong Yoo a honey tea and joked, “If you drink it, you’re dating me,” and talked about the relationship she formed with Lee Dong Wook through the past program hosted by Lee Dong Wook.
When Jang Do Yeon asked Gong Yoo, “Why didn’t you get my number?”, Gong Yoo recalled his first meeting with her and said, “We all had a dinner party that day, but I had a schedule to go abroad the next day. If not, I would have stopped by the dinner party and asked for your number, but it would have been rude to say ‘Can you give me your number’ when we haven’t had any contact yet.”
Jang Do Yeon replied, “Don’t make a mistake. I don’t give my number to anyone,” which made her laugh.
Gong Yoo then said that he likes fishing and “sometimes goes with Dong Wook,” revealing his unchanging friendship. Hearing this, Jang Do Yon said, “There are scary rumors. There are rumors of discord between you and Lee Dong Wook,” and mentioned the rumors surrounding them.
When Gong Yoo heard the rumor that he and Lee Dong Wook kicked and fought over a woman at a fishing spot, he immediately replied, “She’s not you, is she?”, which surprised Jang Do Yeon.
