Girls’ Generation’s Yuri and Jung Il Woo’s upcoming drama has decided to change its director.

On July 20, the producers of the upcoming drama “Good Job” officially announced that Ryu Seung Jin would no longer be directing the production, he will be replaced by director Kang Min Goo.

According to their official statement, the change was done after plenty of discussion, they said it was done, “in order to improve the overall quality of our drama.”

Previous reports alleged that the change was due to conflict between the director and actors on set. However, the producers have explained that Ryu Seung Jin would still be working on the script as a “creator.”

“Good Job” has gained attention for being the reunion of Girls’ Generation’s Yuri and Jung Il Woo, the two actors previously led the drama “Bossam: Steal the Fate.”

“Good Job” is projected to premiere in the second half of 2022.
