Seo In Guk and Jung So Min have a fateful encounter in first stills of upcoming drama “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.”
Seo In Guk is playing the role of Kim Moo Young who works at a microbrewery. Jung So Min is playing the role of advertisement designer Yoo Jin Kang, she lost her parents at a young age but loves and cares deeply for her older brother. When she meets Kim Moo Young (to be played by Seo In Guk) her life changes drastically. The two are connected by a strange fate.
The drama is a remake of the popular 2002 Japanese drama “Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi,” the story focuses on two people who cross paths in their daily life.
This is Seo In Guk’s return to the small screen since his hit 2016 drama “Shopping King Louie.” Its also his first drama following his military exemption due to osteochondral lesions.
The first stills released shows the characters meeting for the first time. Kim Moo Young can’t take his eyes off of Yoo Jin Kang who seems to be busy. At first, she looks at him with doubt, then she engages with him in a conversation.
The drama will be directed by Yoo Jae Won, whose previous works include “King of High School” and “Oh My Ghostess.” The script will be written by screenwriter Song Hye Jin, who has written “My Sweet City” and films like “My Mother the Mermaid” and “My Wife Got Married.”
“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” will air its first episode on September 26 following the end of “Familiar Wife.”
