Our beloved on-screen couples of the serial drama “Dr. Romantic 3” talked about what to expect from their love-lines in the new season!
On the afternoon of the 26th, the production presentation of the new SBS Fri-Sat drama “Dr. Romantic 3” was held. The event was attended by PD Yoo as well as actors Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, and more.
Following season 2, there were changes in the characters after three years. The relationships between Seo Woo-jin (played by Ahn Hyo Seop) and Cha Eun-jae (played by Lee Sung Kyung), and Park Eun-tak (played by Kim Min Jae) and Yoon Ah-reum (played by So Ju Yeon) have also changed.
Ahn Hyo Seop said, “It was helpful in terms of timing. In season 2, I wasn’t actually as close to Sung Kkyung as I am now. That helped me not to cross the line between Woo-jin and Eun-jae. In fact, even on the set, after three years, we became closer as friends and it became easier because we had love as friends.”
Lee Sung Kyung said, “As I know my personal tendencies well, I was cautious at first, but now that I’ve become more relaxed, the third-year couple acting has become more comfortable. We wanted to show how we grew and changed when we acted. To maintain our identity, Eun-jae acted like Eun-jae and Woo-jin acted like Woo-jin and didn’t give up on their chemistry, so we maintained our charm from three years ago.”
Kim Min Jae also said, “It’s been three years since we met, and a lot of time has passed. Of course, there will be sweetness in season 3, but there are also moments of crisis, which can be caused by external factors. It will be interesting to see how we face them and overcome time, and it will be very sweet.”
So Ju Yeon said, “I play Ah-reum, who is a doctor, but they are also human beings and lovers, so I can relate more to them in season 3. I rely on Min Jae actor and it’s a great help.” She asked fans to look forward to the 3rd season.
