“DoDoSolSolLaLaSol” Delays Premiere, Lee Jae Wook And Go Ara Test Negative For COVID-19
So many kdramas have been hit hard by the second wave of COVID-19 in South Korea, including “DoDoSolSolLaLaSol.”
Previously, one of “DoDoSolSolLaLaSol” actors tested positive for COVID-19, as a result, the production halted filming until the cast and crew tested for the virus. After the situation kept getting worse in South Korea, various broadcasting stations including KBS announced they’re halting filming for their currently airing dramas or drama that will air soon.
KBS released an official statement on August 22 announcing that all of their dramas have cancelled filming from August 24-30 as a safety measure in light of the rising number of cases in South Korea.
“DoDoSolSolLaLaSol” was originally slated to premiere on August 26 but it has been delayed due to this reason, KBS stressed that all schedules are subject to change depending on the situation. No new premiere date has been set for “DoDoSolSolLaLaSol.”
Actors from the drama also confirmed they had tested negative for COVID-19, including Go Ara, Lee Jae Wook, and Kim Joo Heon. Lee Jae Wook was not in direct contact but he tested as a safety measure, Go Ara will be self- quarantining according to the guidelines despite testing negative.
