NOTE: SPOILERS OF THE FINALE AHEAD

Myung Se Bin also discussed the ending and said, “I’m satisfied with the ending. Both Jung-sook and Seung-hee have gone through their own growth at the crossroads of choices.”

Myung Se Bin, who had a strong thirst for a different character before this project, said, “Actually, I wanted to try this kind of character for a long time. How long can I continue playing innocent and pitiful characters? As an actress, I wanted to take on various roles. It was great to be given such an opportunity. When I received the script, I shouted ‘Hooray!'” She also revealed, “Director Kim Dae-jin was worried if I could handle playing the ‘adulteress’. But once I started acting, it felt refreshing because it was something different from what I had done before.”

Having succeeded in her transformation, Myung Se Bin became even more ambitious. She said, “I want to play a slightly more villainous character and show a cunning and sophisticated villain who appears timid on the surface but attacks from behind. I also have a dream of doing a deep melodrama.”

With the success of the drama, more people have started recognizing her. Myung Se Bin, “Young friends recognized me and were surprised. I didn’t even wear makeup and went to buy a hat, but they said, ‘Could it be you?’ I took off the hat I was wearing, and when I put on the new hat, they were surprised. They welcomed me so warmly. It’s fascinating to receive reactions as if it’s my heyday rather than just realizing the popularity.”
