Disney+ has unveiled the Korean content lineup for 2023!
Disney held the “Disney Content Showcase 2022” at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on the 30th (local time). “Disney Content 2022” is the Walt Disney Company. It is an event to celebrate the 100th-anniversary of its foundation and unveils new content to be presented at theaters and OTT, which will be held for two days on November 30 and December 1.
On this day, Disney introduced the upcoming Korean content in 2023, including the drama “Moving,” starring Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, and Ryu Seung Bum, the variety show “The Zone: Survival Mission 2,” and dramas such as “Shadow Detective 2”, “Race”, “The Worst Evil”, and “Soundtrack #2”.
Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, and Yuri, who appear in the variety game show “The Zone: Survival Mission 2,” expressed their thoughts on season 2 through a video message. Yoo Jae Suk said, “It’s been a while since the last episode was released in October. I’m grateful to everyone who supported the show since the global release, and I received a lot of strength and support.” ’The Zone: Survival Mission 2’ was possible because many people cheered and said that it was fun. We will come back with various kind of fun than the previous season.” While Yuri said, “Thanks to your enthusiastic support, I was able to participate in (Disney+) ‘The Zone: Survival Mission 2.’”
“Race” is a drama in which a female employee who finds out that the company has hired her through a recruitment diversity policy decides to show her potential to the company, starring actors Lee Yeon Hee and Moon So Ri, Yunho will star in the drama.
“The Worst Evil” is a criminal action drama about an investigation that began in Seoul, South Korea, to find out about the triangular drug trade between South Korea, China, and Japan, starring actors Ji Chang Wook, Lim Se Mi, and Wi Ha Joon. It is currently in the early stages of production.
Meanwhile, a blue carpet event will be held at Marina Bay Sands the Shops in Singapore from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. as part of the “Disney Content Showcase 2002.” The event will be attended by director Kang Yoon Sung of “Casino,” actors Lee Dong Hwi, Heo Sung Tae, and director Takashi Miike of “Connect,” and actors Jung Hae In, Go Kyung Pyo, and Kim Hye Joon.
