DAY6’s Sungjin has enlisted in the military.
On March 8, Sungjin held a V LIVE broadcast on his way to the military training center, he said he would begin his enlistment today, shocking fans.
His hair was cut and he saluted fans, he assured them as well that he’s completed his parts for DAY6 upcoming album comeback ahead of time, and added that he’d keep the group firm and DAY6 will surely continue on after he returns.
In a statement to media outlets, JYP confirmed that he’s enlisted in the military and didn’t reveal his enlistment date because he wished to enlist quietly amid such challenging times with the pandemic. He has received his notice last month.
DAY6 is currently preparing for a comeback with a reported released planned for April.
