Actor Choi Young Joon is tying the knot!
Recently, it was confirmed that Choi Young Joon will hold his wedding ceremony on October 20th at a location in Seoul. The ceremony will be private, with only family and close friends in attendance.
Choi Young Joon has been making a strong impression through his performances in theater and dramas. He recently captured attention with his role as Lieutenant Gato in the drama “Gyeongseong Creature.”

Choi Young Joon debuted in 2002 as a singer and began his career in the entertainment industry as part of the group 7Dayz, using the stage name YJ. After completing his military service, he shifted his career path and appeared in musicals like “Marie,” “The Brave Brothers,” and in plays such as “Shear Madness,” “Full Sea,” and “Art.”
In 2019, he transitioned to acting in media, appearing in dramas such as “Arthdal Chronicles,” “Hospital Playlist,” “Vincenzo,” and “Our Blues,” expanding his presence.
His most notable work is “Gyeongseong Creature,” where he portrayed a Japanese officer who becomes a monster while creating them, earning praise for his intense and crazed performance.
Choi Young Joon is set to return to the stage on the 27th with the play “Killology” as part of the “Theatrical War 10.” He also has the release of “Gyeongseong Creature Season 2” on Netflix to look forward to.
