Actor Choi Tae Joon to reportedly make a special appearance in the upcoming highly anticipated drama “Island.”
According to a report from Joy News 24 on December 23, Choi Tae Joon will appear in the original TVING series “Island,” which is gearing up for its premiere.
“Island” is a fantasy action drama based on writers Yoon In Wan and Yang Kyung Il’s popular cartoon, and tells the story of the journey of characters who are destined to fight against evil which tries to destroy the world. It will reinterpret the legends and tales of the beautiful Jeju Island in a modern way.
The main characters including Ban, who has endured thousands of years to confront the evil spirit Jung Yum Gwi that attacked Jeju Island, Yo Han, the youngest exorcist on earth, Mi Ho, who stands at the centre of fate, awaits to ask questions about the true meaning of life by finding a way to escape the cruel bond of causality.
Choi Tae Joon will show off his extraordinary presence in “Island” by working with actors Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo, and Sung Joon. Expectations are high on what kind of unique charm Choi Tae Joon, who made a special impression in a guest appearance as Kim Tae Ri’s ex-boyfriend on tvN’s “Twenty-five Twenty-one,” which aired earlier this year, will show off in “Island.”
Choi Tae Joon, who debuted with a SBS drama in 2011, was loved for his roles in the dramas “Padam Padam,” “Ugly Alert,” “The Great Seer,” “All About My Mom,” “Missing Nine,” “Suspicious Partner” and other films such as “Eclipse” and “The Quantum Physics: A Nightlife Venture.”
