Actor Chae Jong Hyeop has been offered the lead role alongside Kim So Hyun for the upcoming drama “Is It Coincidence?”
According to a report from the Ex-Sports News on October 5, Chae Jong Hyeop is in talks for his appearance in the new drama “Is It Coincidence?” which is under discussion on tvN.
Chae Jong Hyeop has been offered the role of Kang Hu Young, a handsome man who will be reunited with Hong Joo having exciting memories with Hong Joo.
“Is It Coincidence?” is a romantic comedy-drama based on the Naver webtoon of the same title written by Nam Ji Eun and Kim In Ho, which was serialized in 2011. It depicts the story of coincidently finding the first love from 10 years ago and young people moving forward in search of true love and dreams.
Director Song Hyun Wook, the director of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “The Golden Spoon,” which is currently airing, has a reputation for his delicate and beautiful directing skills for dramas such as “The King’s Affection,” “Beauty Inside” and “Another Miss Oh,” will be in charge of the direction of the drama. The drama will have eight episodes.
Earlier, it was reported that Kim So Hyun has been cast for the lead role of Lee Hong Joo, an animation producer who is afraid of love due to wounds from her past love affairs.
