Cha Eun Woo Joins Kim Nam Joo For Upcoming 2024 Kdrama
Cha Eun Woo is set to continue his successful acting career by taking on the lead role in the drama “Wonderful World” (working title) alongside Kim Nam Joo who previously confirmed for the lead role.
His agency announced on the 1st of June, “Cha Eun Woo has been confirmed to appear in the drama ‘Wonderful World.’ He will portray Kwon Sun-yul, a medical student with a mysterious secret, and will showcase a new side that he has never shown before.”
According to the agency, Cha Eun Woo will present a new transformation in his acting as the character Kwon Sun-yul, who is shrouded in mystery.
Kwon Sun-yul grew up in a wealthy family with a kind face, but due to a series of events, he loses his parents and is forced to live a rough life. The character exudes an aura of unpredictability, hiding his true intentions.
The new drama, tentatively titled “Wonderful World” (written by Kim Ji-eun, directed by Lee Seung-young), is an emotional healing thriller that follows Eun Soo-hyun (played by Kim Nam Joo), who unjustly lost her young son, as she takes matters into her own hands to punish the perpetrator who escaped legal consequences.
Kim Nam Joo will portray Eun Soo-hyun, a psychology professor and a successful writer who leads an enviable life without any scars. Through the process of seeking justice for herself by personally punishing the perpetrator and living a desperate life, she becomes intertwined with others who have suffered similar wounds, solving mysterious cases and healing each other’s souls and emotional wounds.
The new drama “Wonderful World” aims to start production with the goal of airing in the first half of 2024.
