“Broker” Starring Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, And IU Garners More Than 1 Million Moviegoers In Just 10 Days

The new movie “Broker” is off to a great start at the box office!

According to CJ ENM, on June 18, “Broker” has now garnered more than 1 million moviegoers in just 10 days since its release.

“Broker” is the first-ever Korean film to be made by a Japanese director. The film depicts the unexpected special journey surrounding baby boxes. It stars Song Kang HoKang Dong WonBae DoonaIU, and Lee Joo Young.

In response to the movie surpassing 1 million moviegoers, the cast of “Broker” which include IU, Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, and Lee Joo Young shared a picture of them with director Koreeda Hirokazu celebrating the movie’s success.

Meanwhile, Song Kang Ho made history at the 75th Cannes Film Festival by winning the Best Actor award for his role in the movie “Broker,” becoming the first-ever Korean male to win this award at the Cannes Film Festival.
