“Bride Of The Water God” Starts Off With Solid Ratings, Will It Become The Next Goblin?
The first episode of “Bride Of The Water God” is off to a good start.
“Bride Of The Water God” aired its first episode yesterday on the 3rd of July, it is one of the most anticipated tvN dramas of the year.
It took over the time slot previously occupied by “Circle” a sci-fi drama that did okay in the ratings.
Its first episode rated an average of 4.05% in Seoul and its higher than the first episode rating for its precedence Circle which rated 3.7% for its first episode.
tvN has done huge marketing for “Bride Of The Water God” and many people tuned in to see it at last.
It marks the drama comeback of Nam Joo Hyuk following his dating news with Lee Sung Kyung which was confirmed this year.
The first episode also marked the leads Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung surprising first kiss which left many fans in shock, because they don’t usually see kdrama leads kiss in the first episodes.
More people are expected to tune in to see the drama’s second episode today to see the aftermath of the first kiss.
