The cast of ENA’s upcoming drama “Bora! Deborah” has spoken about the drama at its press conference.

On the morning of the 12th of April, ahead of the first broadcast of the ENA drama “Bora! Deborah,” a production presentation was held. At the event, actors Yoo In Na, Yoon Hyun Min, Joo Sang Wook, Chansung, and the director attended and shared stories about the drama.

“Bora! Deborah” is a realistic romantic comedy that starts with love coach ‘Deborah’ (Yoo In Na), who believes that love requires strategy, and publishing planner ‘Lee Su-hyuk’ (Yoon Hyun Min), who believes that sincerity is the most important thing in love.

PD Lee Tae Gon, who directed the drama, said, “Bora! Deborah is a story about the rules of love. It’s about whether we really know and think about it properly. It’s a cheerful and delightful work that includes the question of what it means for one person to love another. I hope you enjoy it happily.”

Yoo In Na plays the role of ‘Deborah,’ the “best love coach in Korea” in the drama. She said, “It’s been three years since I’ve done a romantic comedy, and Deborah shows a less lovable or cute side compared to my previous works. I tried to show a more human side. The director asked me to show my real self, so I boldly and fearlessly show it.”

Yoon Hyun Min plays Lee Su-hyuk, who is outwardly prickly but inwardly warm. He is a believer that sincerity is the most important thing in love. “I enjoyed playing Lee Su-hyuk throughout. I think all the gods who acted with Deborah were happy. I think he has the ability to give positive energy to people around him.”

Joo Sang Wook plays the role of Han Sang-jin, the representative of a publishing company and the older brother of Su-hyeok, who is a fun-loving character and pursues a light romance. He said, “I enjoyed acting in this genre and this type of performance. I think I had fun filming it until the end.”

Hwang Chansung plays the 2nd generation owner of a chicken restaurant, No Joo-wan, who is an ideal son without any flaws. He is in a three-year relationship with Bora in the drama.

Director Lee Tae Gon said, “Our drama portrays various couples as romantic comedies. There are couples who are at the perfect age to date, those who are experiencing their first love and are awkward but excited, couples who are going through a crisis after getting married, and those who are wondering if they can fall in love again after breaking up. Viewers will be able to relate to the different situations presented in the drama.”

Yoon Hyun-min said, “I hope it becomes an ENA drama like the sunshine of spring once again,” Joo Sang Wook said, “If you watch it and don’t find it enjoyable, you don’t have to continue,” and Hwang Chansung said, “This drama is a must-watch that no one will see just once. It’s a work that makes us look forward to Thursdays.”

“Bora! Deborah” airs its first episode tonight!
