“Backstreet Rookie” Ratings Show Incredible Improvement This Friday, “Graceful Friends” Reaches A New Record
“Backstreet Rookie” has found its footing and is doing comparatively better for its Friday episode.
On July 17, SBS drama “Backstreet Rookie” aired its 9th episode and the ratings for this Friday show an improvement from its previous Friday episodes. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of the drama scored average nationwide ratings of 6.1% and 7.7%.
While the 9th episode marks a slight decrease from the 8th episode; which is the series best ratings thus far; the drama seems to be heading upwards after its roller-coaster ratings ride over the first half.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s new drama “Graceful Friends” has reached a new record, its latest episode scored an average rating of 4.1% , the series best thus far. Last week, its second episode scored 2.7%, the 3rd episode marks a significant improvement from last week’s episodes.
Some industry insiders wonder if this JTBC drama will become the next big hit, it being compared to “SKY Castle” a lot. “SKY Castle” also started out with average ratings but ended up breaking records and becoming the highest rated cable drama at the time of its broadcast.
