My Personal Thoughts

I just watched the 1st episode and it was nice. Its too early for me to judge and Song Joongki only appeared at the last minute. I liked the pacing, the effects and the way the characters were introduced. I had trouble knowing who was who and getting the names right but I liked that the drama editing was done in a way that doesn’t overwhelm you.

I kinda expected way better results considering the marketing and the popularity the drama garnered for a while now. “Mr. Sunshine” recorded 8.9% with its premiere and the cast was stellar but I argue the cast of this drama is just as known and beloved if not more, I expected something in the range of 8%.

There is still room for improvement and for better results. I wish the drama all the success. I like it when kdramas take chances, this is a new genre and theme that we’re not used to and I am happy Koreans are trying to escape their comfort zone, its something I’ve been I’ve been dying to see for a while now.
