Famous Veteran Actor Ahn Sung Ki has been diagnosed with cancer.

On September 15, Ahn Sung Ki attended the opening ceremony of a special exhibition for director Bae Chang Ho’s 40th anniversary. Netizens accounts of seeing the actor worried fans. They reported he was wearing a wig and was escorted by someone who supported him as he walked, many became concerned about his health.

Due to this, the actor ended up responding to his fans. In an interview with Korean news outlet Sports Chosun, he revealed he’s been battling cancer for a year. He was diagnosed with blood cancer for over a year. His condition has improved with chemotherapy which is why he was able to make a public appearance. He also revealed his head is bald. He says his health has improved a lot since last year. He also added that he was unable to attend the premiere of ‘Hansan: Rising Dragon’ due to his hair being like that.

Due to Ahn Sung Ki’s cancer diagnosis, he will not be working on any projects for the time being.
