tvN has unveiled a new exciting teaser for their upcoming drama “Adamas”!
“Adamas” is a drama that tells the story of twin brothers uncovering the truth of an incident that took place 22 years ago. They will fight against great evil to clear their biological father of the charges against him, he’s been accused of killing their stepfather. The twin brothers are shocked to hear their father murdered their stepfather at first, but when they find out he’s about to face the death penalty and that he was falsely accused, they set on a mission to uncover the truth that is hidden away by huge power.
Ji Sung will play twin brothers Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun. Although they are twins, each one has a very different aura and personality that makes the viewers easily distinguish between them. Ha Woo Shin is a best-selling mystery novel writer while Song Soo Hyun is a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutor’s office.
The newly released teaser begins with the twin brothers walking together somewhere, their looks are identical but their goals are totally different. In addition, their distinguishable personalities are captured in just one scene, the older brother Song Soo Hyun looks strong and expressive, while the younger brother Ha Woo Shin looks calm and rational. This raises curiosity about the brothers and how Ji Sung will portray them in the drama.
The next shot shows the police and reporters surrounding a scene, the suspect is tied with a rope indicating that this is a large-scale incident that caused a lot of stir in the past. This also raises questions about what kind of connection there might be between this case and the twin brothers.
In addition, the texts that appear later in the teaser tells us that the older brother is looking for the culprit while the younger brother is looking for evidence. Making it clear that these twin brothers, even though they both are looking for the same truth, they are following different tactics. We then hear one of the brothers saying “a missing murder weapon,” and the other saying “I will steal the adamas,” this raises curiosity about what is the twin brothers’ goal and why are they achieving it in different ways.
