Actress Jin Ye Sol Issues Handwritten Apology After Getting Caught Drunk Driving
Actress Jin Ye Sol has admitted to drunk driving and apologized after reports of a actress in her 30s getting caught drunk driving spread online.
On the 13th of June, Jin Ye Sol took to her Instagram and expressed her sincere apologies, saying, “I want to sincerely apologize for delivering such unfortunate news. I should have taken full responsibility for my actions and made more careful judgments as a public figure, but I made a grave mistake due to a momentary lapse in judgment by drinking and driving.”
She continued, “I sincerely apologize to everyone who supports me. I will reflect on myself and engage in self-restraint. I feel deeply sorry and ashamed. Once again, I bow my head in apology.”
On the 13th, the police stated that actress Jin Ye Sol has been booked and is being investigated for drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act. She is suspected of driving while intoxicated, hitting the guardrail twice while driving on the Olympic Highway in Songpa-gu and Gangdong-gu towards Hanam around 10:30 PM the previous day. The police alcohol test showed that Jin Ye Sol’s blood alcohol level was at a level warranting license revocation.
Jin Ye Sol made her debut as an SBS 11th generation talent in 2009 and appeared in dramas such as “Birth of a Beauty,” “Great First Wives,” “Return of Bok Dan Ji,” “Brilliant My Life,” and “Today’s Webtoon.”
