Actor No Young Guk Passes Away Suddenly, Ongoing Drama “Live Your Own Life” Won’t Re-Film

Actor No Young Guk, who was appearing in KBS-2TV’s Drama “Live Your Own Life” passed away suddenly today.

On September 18, it was revealed the actor had passed away due to cardiac arrest. He was 75 years old.

The production team of the drama “Live Your Own Life” stated, “According to the wishes of the family, the funeral will be held quietly with the attendance of family members and colleagues.”

In a later statement, a source from the drama said the broadcast will continue as per schedule without re-shooting while mourning No Young Guk’s death.

According to an interview with a media outlet, the drama has completed filming up to the 10th episode. The broadcast of the episodes that No Young Guk has finished filming will proceed as scheduled without re-shooting, and the plan to replace the actor will be discussed after mourning for the deceased.

No Young-guk, who was born in 1948, made his official debut in 1974 as part of the 7th generation of MBC talent. He appeared in many notable works across the years.

The wake for the deceased will be held at Seoul Hanyang University Hospital No. 8. The burial will be at Seoul Memorial Park, and the departure ceremony will be at 12 p.m. on the 20th.
