Lee Sun Kyun is no longer a person of interest, but a suspect in the police ongoing drug use investigation!
On the 23rd of October, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s narcotics investigation unit announced they will investigate actor Lee Sun Kyun on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act (habitual drug use).
This changes Lee Sun Kyun’s status from a person of interest in a drug use investigation to a formal suspect, and he is expected to receive a police summons. The police have booked three individuals on the same charge, and five people are still under investigation.
Among those under investigation are an heir to a chaebol, Mr. A, and a former trainee, Mr. B, both of whom have prior records of drug use. In response, Lee Sun Kyun’s legal representative denied any connection between Lee Sun Kyun and Ms. A and Ms. B, stating, “Lee Sun Kyun has no prior relationship with A and B.”
Meanwhile, Lee Sun Kyun left the drama ‘No Way Out,’ where he was playing the leading role, due to this incident.
