Actor Kang Dong Won Leaves YG Entertainment After 6 Years
Actor Kang Dong Won leaves YG Entertainment, where he worked for 7 years.
On December 30th, YG Entertainment said, “After discussions with actor Kang Dong-won, we have decided to end the management job.”
Kang Dong Won has been with YG Entertainment as an actor since 2016. The contract was renewed twice, but the third companion was cancelled two days before 2023.
YG Entertainment’s group BIGBANG’s Taeyang and Daesung and group iKON also recently announced their departure from YG.
Meanwhile, Kang Dong Won will meet audiences with the movies, “Broker”, “Possession” and “Accident”.
YG Entertainment released the statement:

After discussions with YG Entertainment, actor Kang Dong Won decided to end his management contract.
