It’s been confirmed that Actor Heo Dong Won has tested positive for COVID-19.

On August 20, his agency released an official statement to the press confirming the news. Previously, actor Seo Sung Jong tested positive for COVID-19 which caused the KBS drama “To All the Guys Who Loved Me” to halt all filming. “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” also halted filming to take precautions since staff members have reportedly worked on both dramas.

Heo Dong Won is currently starring in a play with Seo Sung Jong and it appears to be the reason he contracted the virus. Actor Kim Won Hae who’s also starring in the same play has tested positive as well.

According to Heo Dong Won’s agency, the actor has been isolating since August 19 after he received a notice from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) since he came in contact with someone else who’s been infected.

The results came out on August 19, his manager also tested for the virus, but his results came out negative.

Later, “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” announced that they have taken all the appropriate measures after finding out that Actor Heo Dong Won tested positive, they will continue to halt filming until the test results for all the actors and staff come out.  Further discussions about how the drama shall proceed filming will be announced after more test results come out.

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” will air its first episode on August 26.

We hope Heo Dong Won will be able to make a full recovery soon.
