The production team of the Netflix series “A Killer Paradox” has addressed the controversy surrounding the operation of a food truck.

On the 13th of February, the production team of “A Killer Paradox” stated to Mydaily, “The production team of “A Killer Paradox” submitted an application for the use of shared facilities at Chungnamdae Management Office in Chungcheongbuk-do on January 16 last year to provide meals for the staff and actors during night outdoor shoots.”

They continued, “After receiving permission from the management office, the staff had their meals at the snack truck and then packed up all the items and left the location.”

Previously, on the official SNS account of Chungnamdae Management Office on the 9th, a post was made with the caption, “Do you know that the most highly anticipated and expected drama of Netflix in the first half of this year was also filmed at the main building of Chungnamdae?” along with photos of the lead actors of “A Killer Paradox”

In the post, a photo of a snack truck was also uploaded, showing the staff eating snacks from the truck. The post included a caption that read, “It’s not a secret that I ate tteokbokki with actor Son Suk Ku next to me on the snack truck during the shoot.”

Afterwards, criticism arose online after it was revealed that Chungnamdae is a protected area where outdoor cooking is not allowed, and the photo of the snack truck was deleted from the post by Chungnamdae Management Office.

Regarding this, one media outlet reported that there was no additional registration request for the location for operating a food truck in Cheongju City during the filming period. However, the production team of “A Killer Paradox” clarified that they had submitted an application to the management office.

Meanwhile, “A Killer Paradox” was released on the 9th.
