(G)I-DLE’s Yuqi will be resting for today after halting activities due to health reasons.
On November 20, Cube Entertainment released an official statement to announce that Yuqi was “rushed to the hospital after her health took a turn for the worse” earlier today. As a result, Yuqi received a diagnosis and is resting.
In their statement, Cube does not specify what she was diagnosed with but say she’s currently resting and is unable to participate in today’s scheduled Star River video call event. The event will rescheduled for her portion later on.
The agency ended their statement with an apology for giving such sudden news and promised to do their best as Yuqi rests.
