SBS’s “A Business Proposal” has released a look at the first script reading!
Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim SeJeong, Kim Min Gyu, Seol In Ah, Lee Deok Hwa, Kim Kwang Kyu, Jung Young Joo, Kim Hyun Sook, Song Won Seok, VICTON’s Byungchan, and more attended the first script reading last summer alongside the director Kim Sun Ho, who had previously directed “Suspicious Partner” and “Wok of Love.”
“A Business Proposal” is a rom-com about an office employee who goes on a blind date with her company’s CEO in place of a friend while hiding her identity. The story was first published by author Hae Hwa as a web novel in 2017 and produced into a webtoon in 2018. It was previously announced that KakaoPage would be adapting the web novel and webtoon into a drama.
Ahn Hyo Seop will play Kang Tae Mu, he is the CEO of the company that his grandfather founded, he is a workaholic and often seen as a cold person. One day, his grandfather sets him up on a blind date, which he gets annoyed by because he only wants to focus on his work, so he decides to marry the girl he will meet on that blind date. That way he will not be disturbed from his work anymore. The girl he meets on the blind date happens to be Shin Ha Ri who is played by Kim SeJeong, but is pretending to be Jin Young Seo.
Kim Min Gyu will play Cha Sung Hoon, Kang Tae Mu’s secretary and close friend. While Seol In Ah will play Jin Young Seo, she is Shin Ha Ri’s best friend and is a daughter of a Chaebol family, she is the one who asked Shin Ha Ri to replace her on the blind date with Kang Tae Mu.
Lee Deok Hwa plays Kang Da Goo, Kang Tae Mu’s strict but kind-hearted grandfather who is the president of the food company K-FRESH.
Kim Hyun Sook will play Shin Ha Ri’s boss, Yeo Eui Joo. Kim Kwang Kyu will play Shin Ha Ri’s father, Shin Joong Hae. While her mother Han Mi Mo will be played by Jung Young Joo.
Shin Ha Ri’s younger brother Shin Ha Min will be played by VICTON’s Byungchan. And the handsome chef Lee Min Woo, who is also Shin Ha Ri’s close friend, will be played by Song Won Seok.
“A Business Proposal” will premiere this February!
