The release date for writer Kim Eun Sook’s new drama “The Glory” has been confirmed.

The Netflix series, “The Glory” which will be released on December 30th, depicts the story of a woman whose soul was shattered by violence in childhood and the desperate revenge that she has planned for her entire life.

“The Glory” is written by the writer Kim Eun Sook who has given us hit dramas like “Goblin” and “Mr. Sunshine”. In addition, the drama has a big cast lineup of Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, Eun Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon and Jung Sung Il, actors whose only names are enough.

It is the second project of Kim Eun Sook and Song Hye Kyo together and the expectations are high because of the intense genre drama.

The poster shows Song Hye Kyo sitting alone under a beautifully embroidered tree.

Song Hye Kyo, who looks mysterious, strong and lonely at the same time, like a character in her artwork based on mythology, makes us look forward to her. The poetic lines, ‘There will be no forgiveness so there will be no glory’ makes us want to listen to her story.

In particular, the embroidered motion poster with impressive trees, flowers and objects seems to tell the meaning of revenge that Song Hye Kyo’s character, Dong Eun has been planning for a long time.

Director Ahn Gil Ho called it a ‘Well-crafted literary work’ and the viewers are curious to see the colour of the revenge drama that Kim Eun Sook has written for the first time.
