BIGBANG group member T.O.P (real name Choi Seung Hyun) will travel next month with the “Dear Moon” project.
T.O.P posted on December 9th, “Hi. We’re Dear Moon Crew. SpaceX, Dalgazia”.
The photo released together shows the faces of members participating in the “Dear Moon”, a space travel project organised by Yusaku Maezawa, an eccentric billionaire known as the Elon Musk of Japan.
Yusaku Maezawa, who planned the project is known as ‘Japan’s Elon Musk’ for his unique actions. He is the founder of the e-commerce company, Start Today, the founder of Japan’s largest online shopping mall, Jojotown and is also known as an art collector.
T.O.P will become the first Korean celebrity to go to outer space. He is one of the 8 participants and the project is targeted for 2023.
