Former Gfriend Member Sowon has signed with a new agency!
On November 15, OUI Entertainment revealed new profile photos of the actress and said they’ve recently signed a contract with her. She will be promoting under the name Kim Sowon as an actress in the near future. The agency houses WEi and more.
Last year, fans were shocked after GFRIEND announced their sudden disbandment. GFRIEND parted ways with their agency Source Music after all of the members decided not to renew their contracts more than a year ago. Later, the members personally shared handwritten letters confirming that the group had disbanded.
The former leader of GFRIEND originally joined IOK company. Along with the announcement that was made in August of 2021, she announced she’s changing her stage name to Kim So Jung and plans on taking a new Leap forward with the company. She has since moved agencies.
