Actress So Ju Yeon has been confirmed to join fellow co-actors Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung for “Dr Romantic” season 3.
On November 4, the actress’s agency E&S said, “So Ju Yeon will join season 3 with Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung following “Dr Romantic ” season 2.”
SBS’s “Dr Romantic” is a drama that depicts the story of a “Real Doctor” in the background of a shabby and old hospital in a small province. The first season aired in 2016 was a mega-hit with the highest rating of 27.6% and the SBS drama has received a lot of love for two consecutive seasons, and the second season aired in 2020 with the best rating of 27.1%.
In Season 1 of “Dr Romantic” in 2016, Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin appeared, centering on actor Han Seok Kyu, who plays Kim Sa Bu. In the second season of “Dr Romantic,” which aired in 2020, Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung newly joined along with Han Suk Kyu, giving a great impression and resonance with their in-depth acting. As a result, since the end of season 2, many viewers have demanded to produce season 3.
In season 2, So Ju Yeon first appeared as Yoon A Reum, an emergency medicine major who joined Doldam Hospital, attracted by the charm of Kim Sabu (played by Han Suk kyu), and played the role of an energizer in the work with her unique bright smile and loveliness.
