Lim Soo Hyang visited Lee Ji Han‘s mortuary and paid her respects after the drama filming schedule with Lee Ji Han was canceled on October 31 and shared a long heartfelt message for her fellow actor on her Instagram.
Lim Soo Hyang took to her Instagram story and left a long message on November 1, writing,
“Ji Han, you should go to a good place and stay happier. Yesterday was originally shooting day with you all day, but when I heard the news, we all gathered in your mortuary and sat in confusion without saying anything for a long time. I know how hard you worked and wanted to do well and this was just the beginning for you but you were taken away early, so it was so heartbreaking, sad, and a pity. I think I cried for a long time because you liked and boasted to your parents that I said ‘you did well’ when you went home, so I should’ve held your hands and said good words and cheered you a little more, I feel sorry for not taking care of you better. It hurts me so much that my colleague left first, but I and all of our team will think of you and work harder for you to make up for your share. I hope you will be proud there and now be at peace. I pray for the peace of all the deceased who became stars in the Itaewon tragedy.”
Lee Ji Han died in the Itaewon tragedy on October 29. The deceased’s funeral was held at around 1:30 p.m. on November 1 at Myongji Hospital in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, where the mortuary was set up. The funeral car didn’t leave for cemetery for a long time at the scene filled with cries of bereaved family and friends who desperately called the name of the deceased. The father of the deceased collapsed on the floor screaming.
Lee Ji Han, who made himself known by appearing in Mnet’s “Produce 101” season 2, has strengthened his way as an actor by appearing in the 2019 web drama “Today Was Another Nam Hyun Day.” Recently, he was cast as actor Lim Soo Hyang’s ex-boyfriend in the MBC drama “The Season Of KKok Du,” which is scheduled to air in 2023, and was set to make his public debut.
